Why should I go on this course?

Medical school applications are a long and competitive process. With competition rates increasing year on year. At the PreMed conference we provide you with all the tools to excel in all aspects of the application process. This is because as medical students and doctors we know all the tips, tricks and knowledge to get into medical school. After all we’ve all recently been through the process ourselves! We want the PreMed conference to be the one stop shop for medical school applications! 1 conference, 2 days, everything you need to know.

Who runs this course?

Our courses are delivered by experienced medical students and doctors from the top medical schools in the country. They all have heaps of experience in coaching for medical school applications. Our students will get all the top tips and inside knowledge to ace your application. All our previous courses have received top reviews and 100% of our previous students would recommend our courses.

How do I register for the conference?

You can subscribe to our course using a PayPal account or any major debit or credit card. PayPal is the largest online payment processor and it offers you the highest online security! If you do not have a PayPal account do not worry at all, you can either set one up (takes a few minutes max) or you can pay via any major debit or credit card – whichever tickles your fancy!

Who is this conference suitable for?

The conference is suitable for anyone who is interested in a career in Medicine. There is no specific age group. In the past we’ve had students from as early as Year 9 (or equivalent) to graduate medical applicants benefit from our courses. The conference will cover every step of the application process from personal statements to interviews, as well as insights into life at medical school and careers advise.

Why not attend three separate courses?

We believe that having a conference is the perfect way to prepare your medical school application. Many people attend courses for BMAT, UKCAT, interviews and personal statement. Our idea was to combine all of that into a comprehensive conference.  This means you’ll get to know fellow applicants and tutors better, you get to spend your summer in London and you wouldn’t have to worry about attending anything else. Not to mention you’ll also save money. Our early bird tickets work out as £80 per day, that’s the most competitive on the market.

What if I can only attend 1 day?

Although you will benefit most from attending the full conference. You can also choose to attend separate days. Each day has separate themes, check out the schedule for more information.

Do you provide accommodation?

Unfortunately, we do not currently provide accommodation however there are plenty of accommodation options available. During the summer months each year Imperial College opens its student halls of residence to the public. These halls are a short distance away from where the conference is held in the main campus of Imperial College. In addition there are plenty of hotels, hostels and private accommodation options available in the vicinity.

Do you offer any bursaries?

We want to be as inclusive as possible and we want to ensure that all students have the opportunity to attend our conference regardless of financial background. This is why we have minimised our conference price as much as possible. We also offer multiple bursaries to help students who would find it difficult to attend our conference due to financial reasons. To apply simply send a short email to info@thepremedconference.com explain your situation and how this bursary will benefit you.
